Two Minds, One Vision
Sebastian and Julian met during their Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Free University of Bolzano. While Sebastian brought software development expertise from his work at the German startup ONTOLIS, Julian contributed his background in immersive cultural content and museum experiences.
Enter Storyblox
We launched Storyblox, an AI-powered audioguide platform for smaller museums. Working with cultural institutions, we discovered the transformative potential of AI chatbots and voice agents in creating personalized visitor experiences.
Beyond Museums
One of the institutions we worked with posed an intriguing challenge: could we bring AI technologies to entire destinations? We prototyped a bot for walks, bike rentals, and scenic lakes. The results were promising but relied too heavily on non-structured web content.
Sustainability at the Core
New destinations loved our approach but wanted to communicate sustainability values to visitors. We created whitepapers, built sustainability guidelines into our software, and developed the first AI with guardrails for ecological, economic, and social responsibility.
